Bigfork School Bomb Threat

Today, May 11, Bigfork School administrators were informed of a bomb threat through graffiti posted in the Science Lab at Bigfork High School.  After a thorough investigation by the Sheriff's Department and bomb-detecting canines, it was determined that all schools in Bigfork School District 38 were safe.  School will be in session on a regular basis tomorrow, May 12.
The mission for School District #38 is to help all students acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to be individually successful throughout life. In partnership with students, parents, and community, we are committed to having high expectations for all students by maintaining a safe, nurturing environment that promotes success, learning as a lifelong process, responsibility and respect for one another.

Among elements such as a well-articulated curriculum and a safe and orderly environment, the one factor that surfaced as the single most influential component of an effective school is the individual teachers within that school.
